A.J. Wilkinson Esq 31 Brattle St Boston
Dear Sir
We have received an order for the care of Lots #927, & #3500. for the year 1874. There are one or two parties who have no connection with the Corporation, who are soliciting orders for work to be done during next year. Not being aware of the care you have probably unintentionally given them an order. If you wish to recind the order given to those outside parties and to give us an order for the work we will endeavor to perform such work to your satisfaction. The orders for top dressing were received some time back & the work finished
Very Resp'ly James W Lovering Supt per Childs

If you will favor us with an order for the care &c of your lot for 1874 we will make no charge for the covering the myrtle, otherwise we will be obliged to charge you the regular price for the work, viz: $1.00

Dear Sir:
Your note of the 18 inst. is at hand. I have no objection to your sending the posts along at your convenience and sending a bill for them in the spring, provided, that you do not send more posts than I ordered from you some time since.
Yours truly James W. Lovering Sup't. per Childs
Dear Sir:
Your note of the 20 inst is received. As we cared for your Lot the last year for $5.00 we will do so this next year, rather than you should change.
The order you have previously given was probably to either Fox or P. O'Brien & Co. If you see fit to send us an order we can inform the other parties of your wish that we should perform the work, which we will endeavor to make satisfactory to yourself.
Sincerely yours James W Lovering Supt. per Childs
