Stephen G. Deblois Esq. Dear Sir The removals have been made from the lower tier of catacombs in Trinity Church Lot so that no one need fear any more trouble from water to best of my belief.

The Trustees request me to ask if some simple way of numbering the graves could not be adopted in place of the long granite stones which certainly do not add much to the appearance. Hoping their suggestion may meet with a favorable response.

The cost of resetting a portion of curb around Lot #3601 [?] w^d be $20.^00/100 (say twenty dollars).

I would advise you to defer having the work done till the fall of the year as the execution of the order w^d entail the necessity of removing some of the sods which, in all probability, when replaced would be thereby incurring an extra expense in putting the lot in good order later in the season. We shall be happy when the work done on receiving an order from you as also to number your Lot which w^d you than include in your order.

We will take of your 67 reams printing paper of the size 19 in x 29 in, 26 lbs to the ream, at 23 cts per lb. provided it is of as good quality as the sample handed us, but with more sizing. The sample is deficient in sizing.

We wish the order executed within a fortnight.

I will make the correction of the number of Mrs. P. May's lot; but don't be deceived abt 531. It once stood on Rose Path (on old plan) was never used and the spot is now covered by lot 3601- heirs of Jas. Clark (one of the Jordan Marsh &c lots) I gave you 531 on the list to locate anew; &, if you have not found ^lost that list, you will see it there. If you have, it is time you should be furnished with another. If the number has been located among those given, please find it and give it to the surveyor. Finally, now is your time to show the surveyor where all those spare numbers are located.
