Voted, – that the Committee on Grounds be and they are hereby excused from the further consideraton of the subject, and that the same be referred to the Committee on Lots.

The subject of the taxes for the year 1870 assessed upon the property of the corporation by the City of Cambridge having been brought to the notice of the Board, it was

Voted, – that the taxes assessed by the City of Cambridge for 1870 upon the corporate property be referred to the ^^{consideration of the} Committee on Finance, with a view to obtaining an abatement thereof; and with full powers.

Raymond, chairman of the Commissioners of the Cambridge Cemetery, renewing an application for the purchase of a strip of land on the South side of the lot owned by the corporation being a part of the "Stone meadow," originally made in September, 1858, having been laid before the Board it was
