Gentlemen,
I have the impression that you have purchased lot 60 on Cedar Av -- [indecipherable] standing on our record, in the name of Usher Parsons. --
We are preparing a new catalogue, and if you are not yet prepared to take the new deed, if such is the course proposed by you, as I have heard that you wish the additional land, you had better bring in your deed & transfer back to the Corpn & have the Supt report the additional land, so that I may enter the matter correctly in the new catalogue.
It will be several years before another will be issued.
Respy yours
John Albree Esq
Dear Sir,
The late John Albree who was propr of lot no. 129, on Willow Av.e, I was informed (or have seen) by his will made such disposition of the residue of his estate as to give this lot to Geo. Albree of Pittsburgh Pa. -- his brother. You or someone called here two or three years since, & I prepared some forms of transfer, on the supposition that 2d Geo. Albree would release to the widow. I have since been informed indirectly that he was unwilling to do so.
The title still stands on our records in the name of John Albree. I was about to write G.A., but thought I would first write you to learn if any conclusion has been arrived at. I have the impression you are a nephew or relative. I dont know where the widow is.
Your early reply will oblige.
Yours truly
A.J. Coolidge Sec.y
