No order was sent for the int. of Edward P. Bancroft on the - consequently the record was omitted in the regular place.

Among the removal orders was found one for removal of E. P. B. on the , but as this is in the regular form for removal order, we are without the official voucher for - Late Residence - Place & date of death & age. -

The removal order is signed by Clara E. Bancroft

- Sarah G. Aurelis - No regular order was recd - Cons. we are without late residence & age. The inst. was in Loring H. Austin's lot 237.

I am sorry to see so many slips, indicating "progress backwards" - but trust you will put your foot down to stop it - facts can be [...] [...] its, if you do not receive the proper order until the funeral enters, & have to detain the funeral at the gate until you have seen whether the paper contains all the facts necessary. One minute is sufficient. If it does not, see the proprietor of the lot or the person who has charge of the funeral in his stead, and state what is wanted, & give him the proper blank to fill & return. If on the other hand, the order comes in advance of the funeral note down what is deficient, & make provision for it before the friends leave.

There is never in my judgment, a justification of ignorance of the name of the person concerned, or (if a child) of the parents and I believe proper method will secure nearly all the other facts.

Hereafter, please not double the order of intt in filing. Lay them flat & attach the city & town permits with [gluten?].

I have ^so refiled all orders from the beinning.

Truly yours
