Removal of part of fence outside of Gate _

5. That the same Committee be authorized to remove the two lower lengths, or as much as may in their judgment be necessary, of the low outside iron fence near the gate, and to place the same on the steep and dangerous places on Mountain Avenue near the tower; provided that one hundred and fifty feet of said fence shall be left on the easterly side of the gate.

The foregoing recommendations were taken up and severally adopted, and the report was then adopted as a whole, and ordered to be recorded.

Lot 1979 _ Perpetual Care _

The Committee upon Lots reported that they had provisionally agreed to a contract with William H. Knight for the perpetual care of his lot No. 1979, on Elm Avenue, for the sum of Five Hundred dollars.

Upon motion by Mr Gould, Voted that this Board hereby concur in said agreement.

Lot 2873 Represented.

Upon the petition of the children and heirs at law of Thomas Woodbury, late of Somerville, deceased, as they are, under the recent amendment of the Charter, the grantees of lot numbered 2873, William C. Woodbury of Charlestown, a son of said deceased, was appointed to represent said lot.
