Mt. Auburn

John T. Bradlee Esq Chair. Comm. on Grounds.

Dear Sir

I send you the two plans of the Watriss and Chant Lot & papers connected with them.

The continuation of the Northern branch of Elm Ave. into the Watriss Lot, does not meet the requirements I think All teams must in this case either pass the front gate or else pass around a sharp turn from the South branch of Elm Ave (near lot 3906) when they would be very liable to do damage.

The Southern branch of Elm Ave can be extended by the purchase or exchange of lot 2298 and this gives in my opinion the best means of access.

It would be possible to widen either Mistletoe Path or Spiraea, but only by the purchase of exchange of at least one lot. I think Spiraea path can be extended to advantage as a path.

On the southern side of St John's Lot, the path can be widened to 9 or 10 feet as indicated by the purple lines (present path in plain black) which would be wide enough for our own teams. It is possible to widen so as to make a very handsome entrance to the Chant Lot, by exchanging or purchasing Lots 1653, 2694, 2877 & 3578

I have provided on the Western side for a large Public
