Henderson Inches Esq. 40 Beacon St. Boston.

Dear Sir,

Your favor of 15th. inst. is recd, there an 1808 feet in your 4 Lots equal to 6 300 feet Lots, for which the regular price for Top Dressg. taken singly would be and has been for several years $24. or $4. for 300 ft. If your lots are all in one enclosure which was not noticed at the time the circular was sent we can afford to do the work at $1.00 per 100 feet or $18.; this is the lowest rate charged anyone, and if you have paid less in previous years, I think it must have been through some mistake, as our prices are not higher than they have been for several years past and $14. will not cover the expense of doing the work well.

Respectfully James W. Lovering, Supt. J.E.C.
