Wm Hilliard Esqr

Dear Sir: -

I have just recd a note from Capt. Winsor, our Supt of which the following is a copy: -

"Austin J. Coolidge Esqr

Dear Sir,

It will cost to regrade, manure and resod Abraham Hilliard's lot No. 2000; and paint the fence $4700: what in another Die to the monument $22500 in all $27200

There is a kind of harp & flowers cut upon the front of the Die. He" (the marble man I suppose) "will make an exact copy, take down the old and reset the new as above.

There are heavy banks to resod and it in take as many sods outside as inside, manure &c. The figures for Perpetual care are very low.

Very Resp.y Yours

Daniel L. Winsor

You will remember that the report upon the lot which I showed you contained the endorsement of the Comee on Lots, aggreeing to guarantee the perpetual repair of said lot, when it shall have been put in condition as above described for four hundred dollars. ($400.)

The total cost then of^present repairs, and of keeping forever in repair, will be six hundred & seventy two ($672. -)

I am truly yours
