Amos Tenney Esq New York City

Dear Sir, Upon Mr Merriam's request of me of a blank form for transfer of your lot, I happened to discover that you had never taken the original deed in possesion of the Treasr and I told him I would get it of the Treasr.

The Treasr however wishes your written order for its delivery, or the surrender of the certificate, if you can find it: and I agreed to be responsible for the return of the proper voucher from you, if he would deliver it in advance. Please therefore sign the paper which he has drawn and return to Mr. Merriam or myself. If you should find the certificate which he issued to you, en-- close that also.

Yours respy

A.J. Coolidge, Sec

Geo Wm Bond Esq. Treasr &c—

Amos Tenney Esq 37 William St. N.Y.

Dear Sir,

Last summer I wrote you requesting your attention to the removal of a body from the Receiving Tomb which you had placed there when you sold your lot -- & Mr Jackson wrote me that you were in Europe and was expected back "before the end of the year" and would then attend to it. --

Allow me to repeat our request.

Respectfully yours

W.m W. Tucker

Dear Sir,

Your request to be informed for what sum the Corporation would guarantee the perpetual repair of the Lawrence enclosure consisting of lots 489, 490, 491, 492, 903, 904, 1309 and containing 3700 square feet with tomb, monuments, headstone, fence, trees &c has been laid before the proper Committee, and they have directed me to inform you that the Corporation will assume such responsibility on payment of four thousand dollars ($4,000.)

This will not of course cover future structures, as it is impossible to foresee what may be desired.

If however the parties will limit the cost of such to any particular sum, they can be covered.

Very Resp.y

Capt Winsor

Dear Sir,

Mr Amos Tenney wishes the body of his wife, Maria Tenney, now in the R.T. forwarded by Adams Express to New York. It was removed to the Rec. T. , and whether then put into a new box for the purpose I don't know -- but if not, I presume it will have to be. Mr Tenney will leave Boston tomorrow night, & wishes to pay charges of removal, if he can. He thinks he paid about $10. at the time of the last removal. If he has paid nothing for the deposit in the R.T. he should be charged I think a fair price, say [$10?] per month. By reference to your book, you can probably see ^for what he was charged. Adams Expr. can pay the Watertown Express for taking the box to Boston.

If you can send me the bill, I will collect of him. The box can be sent tomorrow or Saturday.

Respy

A.J. Coolidge

I send the order for removal signed by Mr Tenney.
