Dear Sir,

I am directed [by] the Committee on Lots to notify you that they have agreed to recommend to the Trustees to assume the perpetual care of your lot for eight hundred dollars.

This sum may seem large, but it is not really so when the size of your lot and the increasing expenditures for such care are considered.
