Dear Sir,

At the meeting of the Trustees of Mount Auburn held this day, the following votes were adopted: --

"That the Committee on the prosecution of the claim against Mr Mann, be instructed to discontinue the suit against him. --

That the Treasurer be directed to refund to Mr Mann the sum of one thousand dollars ($1000) deposited in his hands, without interest." --

Dear Sir,

I enclose a rough draft (so far as the copy is concerned, best expressed with a good deal of care and after much study,) of such a contract as I understand to be in accordance with Mr Appleton's wish.

I have endeavored to dovetail the "Donation in Trust" for the care of his lot with the "Reconveyance of the lot in trust", (which I told him he could not easily do,) for the sake of having the entire contract appear in one or more places, without the necessity of reference from one to the other. --

I have queried opposite to one or two blanks, and other places where he might not possibly wish to express what is expressed. The blank for price, I
