James C. Davis Esq. 30 Court St Boston

Dear Sir:

In regard to that part of your letter of which refers to the Levelling of the graves & sodding around Monument on Lot 636 Yarrow Pa Lemeul Pope propr; the Gardener reports that the sod of the lot is in a very bad state. Also that the cost of Levelling the graves &c will be $1600

In my opinion it would be much better to resod the entire Lot early in the spring at a cost of about $5000 than to expend 1600 in patching which I am afraid would not result satisfactorily. Please communicate to me your opinion in the matter.

Yours truly

James W Lovering Supt
