You proposed when last here to let me know, in a few days, if my memory serves me, how to divide the lots in Mt Auburn. As I should like to return the deeds to the Treas^r, now that [a?] year is at an end, I will thank you to send me words & oblige.

Dear Sir,

Will your Com^eeplease consider and report for what sum they will recommend the Trustees to guarantee the perpetual repair of the several lots belonging to W^m. Appleton Esq, all in one enclosure - nos. 464, 465, 466, 468 & 469, with additions, amounting to 6946 feet: for which the Superintendent suggests $1500. --

I think Mr Appleton will desire to reconvey his lots to the Corporation in trust: and told him I would get the views of your Com^ee as a preliminary step.
