cause all brush and weeds to be mown this month, in all parts of the Cemetery, where it has not been done already, and to employ sufficient hands for that purpose.
Story Contract
Mr Curtis, from the Committee appointed (see p. 218.) reported an agreement between the Proprietors of the Cemetery, and Mr William W. Story, dated . which was read approved and accepted.

Pursuant to notices issued in the usual manner, the regular monthly meeting of the Trustees was holden on at the office of C.P. Curtis Esqr. at 12. M. Present Messrs Bigelow, Crockett, Curtis. Kuhn, Parker and Tisdale.
The Record of the last meeting was read and approved Several partial reports were made orally.
Lot 691. Isaac Ross' Legacy.
The Secretary read a petition from the Executor of Isaac Ross, late proprietor of lot no. 691. in reference to a proportionate abatement of a legacy for the care of said lot. there being not enough assetts [sic] to pay all legacies in full. ______ Laid on the table.
Lot 406. Perpetual Repair of it.
The Secretary read a communication from the Superintendent, touching. the perpetual repair of lot no. 406. Levi Thaxter, owner offering the sum of $400. for such a contract. -- Laid on the table.
Stated Meetings of Trustees.
Voted. That the monthly meetings of this Corpo Board until further orders, be holden at 11 1/2 o clock. A.M.

The Record of the last two meetings was read & approved.
Lot. 691. conveyed to the Corporation with a Donation for the care of it.
The Secretary presented an instrument giving the sum of one hundred dollars to this Corporation in trust for the care of lot numbered 691, and also a deed of said lot to this Corporation, from the Executor and residuary devisee of Isaac Ross late proprietor. thereupon Voted. that this Corporation accept the said donation and conveyance.
Lot 406. Perpetual Repair of it.
Voted. That when the application of Levi Thaxter of Watertown, this Corporation will contract to keep his lot no. 406. in the Cemetery, in perpetual repair upon the present payment to its Treasurer of the sum of four hundred dollars, it being understood that said Thaxter has expressed the desire to keep said lot in repair during his own life, and that the liability of this corporation therefor commences at the time of his death, and that this Corporation is to be authorized by the contract to prohibit interments in said lot other than of the children and grandchildren of the said Levi Thaxter.
