Mr. Curtis has sent back to me the plans of lots between Pilgrim & Snow - drop paths, stating that he had a conference with you, but that nothing had been decided.
I do not know whether another interview will be of any avail, but have the impression that you and I can arrange terms to your satisfaction; and I shall be happy to see you here, at your convenience any day, after 12 o'clock.

Dear Sir,
As the Committee on Lots wish to pay you a visit, and the following lots, which are destitute of numbers, gave them some trouble on their last visit, it seems to me that it will be well for you forthwith to have the numbers cut on the stone post, or wherever you can to best advantage. Probably most of them will pay the bill, the remainder the Corporation must pay:

Sphinx Statue Rep. of Com. on Grounds accepted. Com. on Finance Report accepted
A written Report was received from the Committee on Grounds, to whom was entrusted the erection and inscription of the Sphinx Statue, presented by Dr. Bigelow.
Voted, – that the Report be accepted.
Accounts at the Cemetery;
On motion of Mr Turner it was
Voted, – that the Report of the Committee on Finance be taken from the table, and that the same be accepted.^{see p. 188, ante}
Imp. method of keeping. Subject postponed.
The Committee on Finance, to whom, at the last meeting was referred the subejct of the adoption of an improved system for rendering, at the Cemetery, charges against proprietors for labor, and materials, submitted a Report recommending that the subject be referred to the next Board of Trustees.
Voted, – that the above report be accepted, and the reference made.
Trustees Ann. Report accepted & ordd to be printed.
The Annual Report of the Trustees to the Proprietors was then read by the President, after consideration whereof, it was
Voted, – that the Report be accepted and printed.
Chant Lot, purchase of. Prest to have power to complete.
The President having stated that the examination of the title of the "Chant Lot," so called, had been completed, and papers prepared for the conveyance of the same to the corporation; it was
Voted, – that the President be requested to take such action as may be necessary or expedient in order to complete the above transaction.
Cont. for perpet. Rep. with G. of Lot 874. [this vote was passed at the Meeting of .]
The Secretary having stated that the Committee on Lots had recommended the Trustees to guaranty the perpetual repair of Lot No 874, Pilgrim Path, belonging to Danl Kimball, for Five hundred and twenty=fie dollars;
Voted, – that the above contract be concurred in by this Board.
Voted, – that this meeting be dissolved.

Halcyon Avenues, belonging to Moses A. Dow, for the sum of eleven hundred dollars; of Lot No 1780 on Pilgrim Path belonging to J. Huntington Wolcott for the sum of eight hundred dollars; and of Lot No 1781 on Pilgrim Path, lately owned by Samuel Frothingham deceased, for the sum of six hundred dollars, – it was
Voted, – that the aforesaid contracts be concurred in on the part of this Board.
Upon the petitions of the parties in interest representatives were designated for lots as follows, viz: –
717 Charles S. Patten of Boston, son of James Patten, deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Seven hundred & seventeen.
1073. Eliza Ayers (Mrs Nathl) of Newton, sister-in-law of Asher Pike, deceased proprietor of Lot numbered One thousand & seventy-three.
1383 William T. Burrage of Pittsford Vt son of Joseph L. Burrage, deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Thirteen hundred & eighty-three.
1661 J. Augustus Lynch of Boston, son of Stephen Lynch, deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Sixteen hundred & sixty-one
