Trustees . Comn from C. U. Cotting resp'y Mrs. Bournes' Lot.
A communication from Mr. Charles U. Cotting, dated , continuing his "application for a part of the Lot now occupied by the partially constructed Receiving Tomb, to add to Mrs. Bournes' Lot adjoining," was read by the Secretary.
Voted. – that said communication be referred to the committee on Grounds.
Repairs of Coolidge Avenue
A communiction from Mr. Joseph G. Coolidge, dated , in regard to the condition of Coolidge Avenue, and requesting that the Board would appoint a Committee to arrange with him the terms on which he shall put his premises in good condition, and that he shall be reimbursed from the sum of $250. – which the Treasurer was authorized to pay to the City of Cambridge for the improvement made upon said Avenue, – was read by the Secretary:
Voted, – that said Communication be laid upon the table.

List of Neglected Lots Notice to Proprietors
A "List of neglected Lots reported under Article 29 of the By=Laws," dated. The List comprised more than 100 Lots and was read by its title only. Accompanying the List was a proposed form of notification to be sent in the name of the Superintendent to each proprietor. After consideration it was
Voted, – that the above communication be referred to the Committee on Grounds with full powers.
Henry Blaney & Ezra Trull. Rep. on Tombs of
A communiction in relation to repairs on the Tomb of the late Ezra Trull and Henry Blaney on Hazel Dell Path
Voted, – that the above communication be referred to a special Committee consisting of Messrs. Norcross and N. J.

Reception House. Use of for office purposes and for "Refreshments".
The President read to the Board a communication from the Superintendent containing suggestions in regard to the use of the Reception House in part for a Superintendent's office, and in part for refreshments; after consideration whereof it was, on motion of Mr Lawrence
Voted, – that the Communication of the Superintendent be referred to the President, with authority to take such action as he may deem for the best interests of the corporation,
Decoration Day Subject of admission on, &c. referred to Special Comtee
The subject of admission to the Cemetery on Decoration Day having been brought before the Board by the President, and duly considered, on motion of Mr Turner it was
Voted, – that the subject be referred to the President and Mr Pickering as a Committee to confer with the Presidents or managers of other Cemeteries in the vicinity, with authority to make such regulations and arrangement as they may deem expedient

The Secretary having stated that the Committee on Lots had recommended the Trustees to guaranty the perpetual repair of Lot numbered 2326 on Rosemary Path late of *Jonathan W. Hayes, deceased, for the sum of Two hundred and fifty dollars; of Lot numbered 3261 on Lime Avenue, of John Goldsbury of Boston, for the sum of Four hundred and fifty dollars; and of Lot numbered 4015 on Hazel=Dell

The record of the last meeting was read and approved
Reports were received from the Committee on Lots as follows; viz;
Sale to J. C. Bucknam of Lots 4215 & 4216 for cons. Tombs appd
(a) recommending that the Board approve the sale of Lots Nos 4215 and 4216 on Hazel Dell Path to Mr John C. Bucknam for the construction of a Tomb or Tombs thereon.
Cons. of Tombs on Palm Av. & Hazel Dell Paths appd.
(b) recommending that permission be granted by the Board for the construction of tombs on the territory situated on Palm Avenue and Hazel Dell Path, and marked "A B" on a Plan signed by the Superintendent, and approved by the Committee on Lots, dated , – to be filed with the Plans of the Corporation
Relocation of Jacob A. Dresser's Lot, No 3606.
(c) recommending that the Secretary be instructed to receive from Mr Jacob A. Dresser a conveyance of Lot No 3606, Lavender Path sold to him , - for the purpose of giving him a new location, and allowing the old one to be disposed of to Mr Samuel R. Payson.
Reconveyance to G. W. Blatchford Tr. of Lot 2203.
(d) recommending that the Secretary be instructed to convey to Mr George W. Blatchford, Trustee, any interest which the corporation may have acquired in Lot No 2203, Elm Av. (N.br.) under, or by virtue of a conveyance from said Blatchford to the Corporation, dated , and entered on the records of deeds
John K. Stickney's Lots to be consolidated under one number
(e) recommending that the petition of Mr John K. Stickney for leave to consolidate under one number the two contiguous Lots owned by him on Snowdrop Path, and severally numbered 3220 and 3221, be granted.
Voted, – that the foregoing reports be accepted.
