My dear Sir,

I have obtained a Report from our Supt upon the lot in the Cemetery of your late father, no. 2963, Asphodel Path, and have laid the same before the Comee on Lots, and they have directed me to notify you that this Corporation will guaranty the perpetual repair of said lot, if desired, for four hundred and fifty dollars ($450.-)

I am Very truly yours

A.J. Coolidge Sec.y

Geo. E. Mackintire Esq 44 Franklin St

Mr Lewis Jones, Undertaker

Sir,

On the , you made an interment in lot no. 591, (it is said) represented by Thomas Lamb. I have asked you in vain for such an order as our by-laws require, giving the name of the person interred and other facts, and although you have promised to obtain & send it to me, you have not done so: - and the space today stands a blank on my records.

I have now only to say that if you do not get the proper order signed and return it to me within the present week, I shall make such representation of the facts as a vote of the Trustees has authorized, and you must run the risk of the result. You will please notice that you are to seal it to me, and not to Mt Auburn.

Yours resp.y

A.J. Coolidge Sec.y
