Mr Andrew Wellington Winchester, Mass.

Dear Sir, I find that the Superintendent of Mt Auburn has reported ^an addition to a lot to Jacob J. Nichols - Lot 350 on Indian Ridge Path.

This lot stands on our record in name of Peter Wellington of E. Lexington, and I do not find on our record any evidence of his decease: until which event, no deed can be made to another party, unless he transfers his lot to such party, first; as our charter makes lots indivisible.

If the deed of the addition shd be made to Mr Nichols, you perceive the title of a portion would be in him, & the other part in Mr Wellington. If Mr W. has deceased the deed can be made to the heirs at law, or devisees under the will, according as his property is left.

If you will see me, I can better advise you abt. it.

Truly yours

A.J. Coolidge Secretary
