277 COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE June 4/83 And now the Special committee on bids make their report on the bids for the 8th Street Improvement & recommend that the contract be awarded to P Quigley & Co upon filing a proper bond in the sum of $2000.00 Adopted & contract so awarded. And now the Special Committee on bids make their report on the bids for the Improvement of the Alley West of Front Street & recommend that the contract be awarded to S G Simpson upon filing a proper bond in the sum of $600.00 Adopted & Contract so awarded. And now the Special Committee on bids make their report onthe bids for the Improvement of Columbia Street & recommend that the contract be awarded to Cummings & Strong upon filing a proper bond in the sum of $6000.00 & executing a contract for such improvement as far east at 12th Street instead of Broadway Street. Adopted And now the Special Committee on the assessment Roll for Pike Street Improvement under Ordinance No 375 make their report that the said roll is correct, thereupon the Council funding the said roll to be correct. It is ordered that said assessment roll be & is hereby approved.
