87 COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE is hereby instructed to prohibit the firing of fire crackers in dangerous places on July 4th 1882. Ordered that the Celebration Committee be granted permission to use James Street for a pavillion on July 4th 1882. Ordered that the Clerk be instructed to publish notices of a general election on July 10th 1882 according to law. Ordered that the following named persons be and they are hereby appointed to conduct said election and that the following named places an hereby designated as the places of holding said election, towit: First Ward Place of Election Office of J.P. S.F. Coombs Inspector of " Frank Matthias Judges " " H.G. Thomton & E . A. Turner Clerks " " Fred E. Sander & Ed Plummer Second Ward Place of Election Engine House on Columbia Street Inspector of " Andrew Slorah Judges " " O.C. Shorey & W.H. Shoudy Clerks " " D. J. Wheeler & Ed Briscoe Third Ward Place of Election North School House Inspector of " E. S.Ingraham Judges " " Austin Bell & J.C. Floyd Clerks " " H.F. Jones & Robrt Knipe
