The regular monthly reports of the following City Officers are received and ordered filed, to wit: Harbor Master, Street Commissioner, City Treasurer, City Justice, and City Attorney The petition of James Pollock and others is received praying for the construction of a sidewalk along Main Street; Thereupon the prayer of the petition is granted and the same is referred to the Ordinance Committee with instruction to submit an Ordinance providing for such improvement The following bids for furnishing metal Gas Lampposts and received and read to wit: Washington Iron Works for 50 lamp posts at the rate of $13.50 per post Williamson & Kellogg " any number of posts " " " " $12.00 " " Thereupon the bid of Williamson & Kellogg is accepted.
