To the Honorable City Council City of Seattle, Wash.

We the undersigned citizen, and property holders along the Woodland Park car line, living under the promise and pledge that we would have good car service into the city (said promise and pledge having been made before we bought property and built homes), now find that the car has been taken off, thus leaving us wholly without car service into the city; and as we have no street that is passable in winter, we are left without communication with the city, although we are within its limits.
