Milo, after declaration made in terms of Section 1 of 40 Vic. 10 - saith My name is Milo. I am a native trooper. I am a native of the country between St George's Bridge and Roma in the Colony of Queensland

I know Constable Goodacre. I remember going to Defendant's hotel with Goodacre, I think 3 days ago. (Defendant admits date) I had a two shillings with me, and an empty bottle. I went in straight to defendant's house into the Bar. I said "Please Mr. Nock "fill this little bottle with Rum for two shillings"

I handed bottle to Mr. Nock and got it back from Nock, there was something in the bottle when I got it back. I did not taste it. I gave Mr. Nock the two shillings.

It was a little bottle with red wax on it like Ex. A. I put the bottle in my coat and went outside and gave it to Goodacre. I had only one bottle.

[left margin] Xd. by Defdt.} When I got the grog, Goodacre was standing in front of the Bar. I dont [sic] understand the meaning of the word perjury.
