Sir,

I do myself the honor to recommend that the gentleman named in the margin should be appointed to the Cadetship in the Force under my command vacant by the resignation of Mr William Sharpe, and that he should receive pay from the 1st Instant, inclusive; up to which date Mr Sharpe was paid

I have the honor to be Sir Your most obedient Servant
