Dear Sirs

In regard to the headstones sent to be erected at the graves of U.S. Soldiers I can find no record of N.W. Willson, F.L. Spring, J.L. Dickman, or W.J Rand having been interred in this Cemetery. -

C.H. Alcott is buried here but his friends decline to allow the headstone to be erected on the lot. ~

The stones are lying here at your order and risk.

Very respectfully James W Lovering pr J.C.S. Supt

Dear Sir

In answer to yours of the 16th ulto.I would say that I wrote you last Feby. that C.H. Allcote was the only person among the five names for whom you sent headstones, buried here and that his friends declined to have the stone placed on their lot.

I also wrote you that they were here subject to your order & acting at your risk & as they are in our way I should be glad to have them removed.

By communicating with there in charge of Cambridge City Cemetery is the Catholic Cemetery, it is possible you may find where they belong. but if you can't get information from them, I don't know where it is to be found.

Yrs truly J.W. Lovering Supt.
