Hon. J.M. Clark

Dear Sir

My estimate for repairing the curbing around your lot (No 3337 Laurel Ave is as follows.

14 iron clamps galvanized $3.50
6 days masons & cutting & clamp'g 18.00
1 1/3 [days] leading joints 4.00
50 lts lead 3.50
1 1/2 labor sodding, borders & next curb'g 3.37
120 ft sods 3.60
[Total] $35.97
The cost of a stone post if wanted for the vase you propose to place on the lot would be $3.50 to $5.00 set, according to whether a post 10" square would answer, or whether a larger one must be put there say 12 inches square, which is probably as large as any I now have on hand.

The open joint could be filled with lead at a smaller expense, but the curb unless clamped & reset would continue to move with each winter's frost so that while the first cost would be less, it would in my opinion be poor economy to repair in that way.

The flower will be placed in the vase as you request instead of in the borders.

Yrs truly J.W. Lovering Supt .
