#2443)S

H. D. Litchfield, Esq., Cambridge.

Dear Sir:-

In regard to your proposed removal of the remains of a child from tomb #2443, as you are aware the lot was reconveyed in trust to the Corporation, and by my copy of the deed the removal of the bodies now in the tomb is not provided for. In view of that I do not see that I have any authority to make a removal.

I suppose if the heirs and executor unite in asking for a modification of the deed it might be made, but as the contract is made with our Trustees the change would have to be approved by them.

There is a meeting of the Trustees next Wednesday, and it might save you some delay if the papers were sent me before that time.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.
