Drainage of low land near Locust Av _

The Committee on Lots verbally reported that they had examined the vicinity of lots where proprietors had complained of bad drainage from their lots, but had not come to a decision as to the best means to remove the cause of complaint.

Voted. To refer the subject of draining certain lots on and near Locust Avenue, to the Committee on Lots: with full power.

Proposition of A. McDonald to sell marble Shop _

A written proposition from Alexr McDonald offering to sell the building occupied by him as a marble shop on land leased to him by the Corporation for the sum of Four hundred and fifty dollars ($450 _) _ was referred to the Committee on Grounds with full power.

Letter from Anna L. Hooper on Removal of Trees _

A communication from Mrs. Anna L Hooper, complaining of the course authorized by the Board of Trustees in cutting down so many of the trees in the Cemetery; was read. and it was
