Petition from School Board of School District No 1 asking for the use of the Old North School House, (now occupied by Hose Co No 7) for school purposes. Read & granted on condition the school District puts up a suitable shed on the lots for housing the Hose Cart etc. Committee Reports Rec'd From Committee on License and Revenue rejecting petition of Mrs H S Parkhurst & others against granting a license for a slaoon on Second Street betweeen Cherry &Columbia Streets adopted. From Same Committee on petition of W R Brawley & others for revocation of Liquor license of Alden S Chase recommending that the said Alden S Chase be cited to appear before the Council at its next meeting and show cause why his said license should not be revoked. Adopted.
