The regular meeting of the Trustees was held on Tuesday, , at 10 o'clock a.m.
There were present the President, Messrs Austin, Bowditch, Cheever, Little and Read.
The record was read and approved. _
Verbal Rept of Finance Comee
The Finance Committee made a verbal report _ that the transfer of cash and evidence of property from the late to the present Treasurer had been made _ but the Committee would report more fully at the next meeting.
Amendt of Art. VI of By-Law _
The following words were proposed as an amendment to the By law, respecting duties of the Treasurer _ after the clause requiring checks to be countersigned by one or more of the Committee of Finance _
Insert _
"And, in the absence of said Committee, by one or more members of the board."
Petition for abatement in bill for heirs of A.W. Hildreth - Lot 3719 _
A petition was presented in favor of the minor heirs of Alonzo W. Hildreth decd late proprietor of lot numbered 3719, requesting an abatement of such part of a bill due from his estate to the Corporation as the Trustees should see fit on account of the poverty of said minors ~ and the same was referred to the Committee on Lots, with full power _
