Representative of Lot 515

Upon petition of the Trustees under the will of Edward C. Tirrell late proprietor of lot no. 515, Edward Q. Tirrell of Boston, son of said deceased, was designated to represent said lot.

Lot 694

Upon the petition of the children and heirs at law of John B. Wells, deceased, late proprietor of lot No. 694, Bradley N. Cumings, of Boston, son in law of said deceased was designated to represent said lot. _

Lot 1661

Upon the petition of the widow and heirs at law of Stephen Lynch, deceased, late proprietor of lot no. 1661, Charles S. Lynch of Boston, eldest son of said deceased was designated to represent said lot.

Lot 175

Upon the petition of the widow and children of Elijah Means, deceased, late proprietor of lot No. 175, Granville Means of Boston, eldest son of said deceased, was designated to represent said lot.

Upon motion of Mr Andrews, and at the suggestion of the Committee upon Lots,

Wade Lot _

Voted that the whole subject in controversy respecting the lot of the late Col. John Wade, be taken from said Committee and referred to this Board.

Adjournd

Voted that when this meeting adjourn, it be to such day as the Committee on Lots may designate.

Wade Lot _ subject of Location _ continued _

and who was also present with Col. Wade at the time the lot was selected, made his statement,

It was then moved by Mr Nazro,

That this Board direct that said lot shall be laid out twenty six feet by twenty six feet, and to have two fronts _ upon Laburnum Path and Chapel Avenue _ as originally understood by Col. Wade and his friends; the vote to be taken by yea & nay.

Mr Mann the Superintendent, was introduced to explain the lines upon a plan of said lot as made by Mr Wadsworth; and Mr Converse, Executor and Residuary Legatee of Col. Wade was introduced to show the plan of a costly monument which it is proposed to erect if the location claimed by him is adopted by the Trustees. He also read a letter from John C. Page, who was present when the lot was selected; and introduced Mr George Holden, who was also present, both stating what they then understood to be the agreement as to the location of the lot.

Mr Curtis was called away from the meeting. There being but five members of the Board present, and one of them stating that he could not vote upon the question, as his present knowledge of the matter would not enable him to form an opinion,

Upon motion by Mr Nazro, it was Voted that the motion pending be laid upon the table until the next meeting.

The meeting was then adjourned.

The regular monthly meeting of the Trustees was held at the usual place on

There were present, the President, and Messrs Andrews, Cheever, Curtis, Crocker, Gould, Nazro, Read and Sleeper. = 9

The record was read and approved.

Location of Wade Lot.

The questions of locating the lot of the late John Wade which was laid upon the table at the last meeting, was called up.

The motion of Mr Nazro pending, was, by consent, amended, so as to read as follows

That this lot be laid out upon Laburnum Path, having an area of twenty six feet by twenty six feet, with the usual frontage of six feet: the vote to be taken by yea and nay.

After the several statements of Messrs Curtis and Crocker, and the reading of a letter from the Superintendent, and further discussion of the subject,

Mr Nazro withdrew his motion to allow of the following by Mr Read

To refer to the location of the Wade lot to the committee on lots with instructions to approve a conveyance of this lot, to be located upon Laburnum Path, with an area of twenty six feet by twenty six feet, and the usual six feet frontage, with the addition of the strip of land lying on
