Your note to our Treasurer has been forwarded to me for answer. The bill of $8.90 which you paid July 21, was for sodding over the graves from which the myrtle was removed. The charge of $12.00 now sent is for resplanting myrtle on four other graves.

Dr. C. F. Brooks, Bemis Medford.

Dear Sir: -

At the end of the grave furthest from Jonquil path the ground falls from rear to front two and one half inches in thirteen inches. I do not clearly understand your other questions, so enclose you a tracing showing the relative positions of the grave and monument now there, and I have no doubt you can get the desired information from that.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

Dear Sir:-

I find the stone to which you refer in the Thatcher lot #1446, it needs to be secured with dowels, but this is not included in the contract for perpetual care. The cost of the work would be $3.20.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

Dear Sirs:-

We do not have the locations for the foundations, and I think it would be well if some one familiar with the lot would come out and point on the spot where to place them.

Respectfully yous,

Supt.

Isaac P. Clarke, Esq.,

#27 Doane St., Boston.

Dear Sir:-

Your note is received. There appear to be seven graves in the McClellan lot all evidently commom graves. There appears to be room for about six brick or eight common graves more.

The fence on the lot is rusty and unsightly, and the lot and its surroundings would be improved by removing it. Would the heirs consent to this being done, four posts recut for the corners, the other posts removed and the post holes sodded over and the number of the lot cut without expense, except the old material.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.
