.

W. S. Carter, Esq., Eliot St., Jamaica Plain.

Dear Sir: -

The fence on the Smith lot #523 is broken, and needs to be painted. To repair it would cost $2.00, and to paint it $6.00. The lot would be improved by removing the fence altogether.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

#4220-S . O.H. Hayes, Esq., New York.

Dear Sir: -

The raised polished panel on the front of the die of the Henry Winkley monument is 4' - 5" high and 3' - 11" wide. The name is cut in 4 inch square sunk letters, and the base of the letters is 9 1/2 inches from the top of the panel.

Respectfully yours,

Miss. Emily B. Peck, Dorchester,

Dear Madam: -

Your note is received, if the two markers are delivered at the same time, the cost of building both foundations and building the markers into them will be $8.50.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

#4220-S

O. H. Hayes, Esq., New York.

Dear Sir: -

I carried your note to the secretary's office and found that not knowing you were executor he doubted his right to issue the permit to cut inscription. The permit has now been issued, and the stonecutter is at work on the monument.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.
