372 JOURNAL OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE Jan 6 188 of its several lines of Street Railway" which is passed by the following vote viz: Ayes Frink, Green, Lake, Moran, Niesz, Russell & Reitze Nays None. 898 An Special Ordinance is submitted by the Clerk entitled "A Special Ordinance apropriating money to pay audited bills" which is passed by the following vote to wit: Ayes Frink, Green, Lake, Moran, Niesz, Russell & Reitze Nays none. Harbor Master Elected The Council now proceeds to the election of a Harbor Master for the City of Seattle and Samuel A Hoyt having received the unanimous vote of the council for Harbor Master is duly declared elected to said office. Inspector of Numbering elected The council now proceeds to elect an Inspector of Street Numbering whereupon A E Greenus having received the unanimous vote of the Council for said office is duly elected Inspector of Street Numbering of the City of Seattle. On motion of Counciman Niesz the Mayor appoints as a Special Committee to examine and report on a line to be marked by a line of Piles to be kept open as an avenue around the curve of the mud flats at the proper distance from deep water. Councilmen Niesz, Moran & Russell. On motion the plats of Olive Addition to the City of Seattle & Supplemental Plat of Blck 20 G Kinnear's Addition to the City of Seattle are approved.
