Dear Madam,
The grave marked "Emerson" in Lot 506 has been covered once with sweet alyssum, but in consequence of the dry weather the plants died, and we are of the opinion that it would be difficult to make them live at all. We will replant the grave with either myrtle or sweet alyssum as you may desire.
Respectfully James W. Lovering Supt. J.E.C.
Wm Perkins Esq. 30 Central St. Boston
Dear Sir,
Mr. McDonald informs us that he is now cutting the headstone ordered by you and that in about two weeks he will be ready to commence the lettering.
When you wish us to prepare the Myrtle grave please sign and forward us the enclosed order.
Respectfully James W. Lovering Supt. J.E.C.
