Dear Sir,

We are nearly ready to print a new plan of our Cemetery on a scale sufficiently large to show every proprietor his lot in good order. You being one of our constituents, I wish to make a personal appeal to you so for as such appeal is proper^^{can be made} consistent with your own interests.

I do not find any map paper in this market and do not wish to be driven to New York to get it.

We wish about ten reams 38 in x 46 in say 65 ⁷⁰ lbs to rm. or about 700 lbs.

I inquired at Mr. P.C. Jones', or rather got them to inquire of your house and my answer was that you were not for prepared to make so small a quantity, and would have to wait for an accumulation of orders. In that way I should suppose orders would naturally scatter as fast as the necessities of persons should drive them elsewhere.

However, that is of no consequence. The only thing is, can I within our limited time calculate upon a supply from your mills; say in one month or two months?
