Hollis Moore Esq.

Dear Sir

Mr Barker decides that the stone is "fit to rise." The Cap after being dressed off will project an inch or a little more, the plan calling for 1 1/2 inches.

The marble we can provide for best by raising it from the ground., and I think there is no danger of any injury in that way.

Yours very truly James W. Lovering

Messrs Knox & Angier

Dear Sirs

In sending you a new list of "plain sunk" numbers to be cut, I will request you to furnish us with good, clear, figures cut in a workmanlike manner, and to return these slips to my office marked finished with your monthly bill or oftener

Yours respectfully James W. Lovering

P.S. I notice you discount us only 5% against 10% last year. I suppose you will expect the same discount on work done by us for you.

Messes Knox & Angier

Dr Sirs

We have running numbers to cut from 1 to 27 on Trinity Church Lot on ^long Granite stones which mark the graves. Please let me know at what price you will do the whole job. We want good work but the sides can be bevelled and need not be square sunk which ought to cost less.

Yrs truly J.W.Lovering Supt
