Dear Sir,
In Nov. last you were requested, by letter, to inform us whether you wished to retain the space between your lot #851 Elm Ave. and #689 H. B. Sargent Propr. as we had an application to sell it, and adjoining Proprs. have the privilege (by the Bye Laws) of buying such spaces in preference to other purchasers.
We have never rec'd. your reply and having since had another application for the land, would be greatly obliged if you will inform us at your earliest convenience, whether you wish to take the space or not.
Resp'y Yours J.W. Lovering Supt. Per E.T.K.

Dr Sir
I have your favor of and as representative of lot 851 you can take whatever ground the former Supt has offered you. I have been unable to find the copy of letter he sent you , and therefore am not aware of the quantity or price he named to you.
I should be glad to have the matter settled as early in May as you can make it convenient. If you take the addition for purposes of interment I think there would be room for four or five.
Yours truly James W. Lovering Supt.

Dear Sir
I have your favor the 8th ints. The lots #851 & 1896 were topdressed on ; the charge on #1896 was not rendered at the time the rest were on account of an overcharge, since corrected, the orders have been recorded, however ever since the day received, and the lots were attended to among the first. We have so many small gardening charges to be entered on the Treasurer's books every fall, that occasionally a bill is rendered before some small part of the order is completed, but of course I don't ask or expect any one to pay until the work has been examined.
The last order you signed was for care for 1874. We do not usually ask for orders so early, but it was found more convenient to do so this year. I regret
