Mr. McDonald owns the nearest supply to the front gate Mr. Stone, the nearest to the back gate

Mr McDonald's supply lies about in the position of the rectangle a-b a-d on the enclosed sketch, where thus is a large quantity of gravel; some already sold to contractors, but a sufficient quantity, unsold as yet.

He would be glad to make an arrangement with us, either by selling us a piece of land outright, on fee simple (which we could sell when we had taken off the gravel) or by selling us the gravel off the land,

pleasant drive as paths will take care of themselves; and any small irregular lots, left at corners of paths, or between regular square lots, will sell even more readily and profitably than the common square lots.
