On motion the bids are referred to the Finance Committee and said committee after considering said bids report in favor of awarding said contract to the Post Intelligencer Publishing Company whereupon on motion it is Ordered that the contract for doing the City Printing be and the same hereby is awarded to the Post Intelligencer Publishing Company for one year from October 1st 188. Street Lighting bids for Lighting the Public Streets and Buildings were opened and read as follows: Seattle Electric Light Co. 16 Candle Edison incandescent lights $1.80 each per month 20 Candle Edison incandescent lights $3.00 each per month 2000 Candle arc lights $12.00 each per month
