OCTOBER 18

1931. Cosby & myself went to church at Richland this morning. Erdine, Cosby & myself went to church at town tonight.

1932. I have been piecing on a quilt today.

1933. I have been nearly sick today have done anything except just the general house work & read some short stories. Jasper Slaton was operated on for appendicitis last night.

1934. I got dinner & sewed on my dress and cleaned up the house today. I got a letter from Mother today. Sis, Rex & I went to Mr. Vannoy's a while tonight.

1935. I dressed 2 chickens, churned, ironed some & got dinner. Zolie ate dinner here again today. Earl came a while tonight.

OCTOBER 19

1931. Came to town this morning and went to school. Mrs. Mann, Ernest & myself went to church tonight.

1932. Uncle Brack brought me to Mrs. Mann's this afternoon. I am going to stay a few days with her. Mrs. Mann, Ernest & I went to prayer meeting tonight.

1933. I have ironed today. Mr. Slaton & Sis went to see Jasper a while tonight he is getting along as well as could be expected.

1934. I cleaned up the house, got dinner and sewed on my dress some. Loyd, Ruby & Jasper came this afternoon. Ruby, Jasper & I went to the Ball game at Anton this afternoon.

1935. Rev. Moore and Mrs. Moore spent the day with us. Sis, Joseph & I went to church at Browders church tonight.
