OCTOBER 2

1931. Went to school today and came home this afternoon.

1932. Rex came this afternoon & we went driving.

1933. Dock & I washed this morning and I got dinner. I did part of the ironing this afternoon . Sis ironed several pieces after she came home from school.

1934. I finished ironing today, got dinner & house cleaned Mr. Slaton's & Dock's room this afternoon. Mr. Slaton came home this afternoon he has been visiting Jessie since Sunday.

1935. I patched some this morning & got dinner. I went to Leona's this afternoon & helped quilt on Mrs. Williams quilt. Mrs. Cobb and Mr. & Mrs. Merrill were there also.

OCTOBER 3

1931. Stayed at home all day and studied my lesson's. Harpie Curtright came a little while this afternoon.

1932. Mother & I house cleaned Uncle Brack's room today. Mrs. Conley came a little while this afternoon.

1933. Jess & Lin came this morning & spent the day with us. I ironed some this morning and Jess ironed several pieces for me. Lin, Jess & I went over to Aunt Jessie's a little while this afternoon.

1934. I got dinner, churned & started house cleaning the middle room this afternoon but didn't get through. Evelyn & Jim came this afternoon. John Marion came tonight. I wrote a letter to Mother today.

1935. I wrote a letter to Elizabeth this morning. I got dinner, cleaned up the house and gathered some butter beans this morning. I went to Leona's & helped quilt this afternoon. Mr. & Mrs. Merrill & Mrs. Oglesby were there also.
