SEPTEMBER 10

1931. Went to school today
Mrs. Mann & myself went to
Prayer meeting tonight.

1932. Rev. Graves & Rev. Oakley
came this morning & spent the day
with us & we all went to church this
afternoon. Martha Lue Lyons came
home with me & we went to church tonight.

1933. I feel a good deal better
today. Stayed at home all day
and nothing happened unusual.
I played several games of Solitary
this afternoon but
didn't best a single
game.

1934. Kate washed for us today. I got dinner
& cleaned up the house & worked some
button holes. Evelyn came
this afternoon. Mr. Slaton isn't any
better today.

1935. Kate washed for us today.
I sewed this morning & ironed some
this afternoon. Uncle Brock came this
morning & spent the day & will spend
the night. Modest, Ruby & Jasper
came this afternoon.

SEPTEMBER 11

1931. Went to school today
and came home this
afternoon for the week
end.

1932. Rex came this afternoon
& we went to see
Larene, she is some better. We
went to church tonight.

1933. I feel better today. I patched
some today & read
some. Lanna is better
today.

1934. I cleaned up the house, churned,
got dinner & ironed some today. Mr.
Merrill, William and Cousin Herb.
came this afternoon. Mr. Slaton
is better today. I have patched some
today.

1935. I ironed some, dressed a
chicken and got dinner this
morning. Uncle Brock went home
this afternoon and I went with
to town & went to see Jess
a little while. I came home with
John Marion as he came home from work.
