AUGUST 7

1931. Bonnie & Robert came after me late this afternoon so I could spend the week end with them. They live near Earlington.

1932. Rex came this afternoon and we went driving.

1933. We washed this morning and I patched a little this afternoon. Mrs. Harris came a little while this afternoon.

1934. I got dinner, canned some tomatoes and churned this morning & Sis ironed. We canned some tomatoes this afternoon also. Sis, Mary Crabtree & Mary's mother went to the school house a little while this afternoon. They went to clean up the school rooms.

1935. I got dinner, ironed some & cleaned up the house. Modest, Ruby & Ruby's neice came this afternoon. Sis & I cut off some peaches to dry after she came home.

AUGUST 8

1931. Bonnei, Robert & myself went to Madisonville tonight to the Holliness meeting.

1932. We washed today. Dad & I shelled some corn for the chickens this morning. Mother & I gathered some grapes late this afternoon.

1933. We ironed this morning and I read some this afternoon.

1934. I ironed this morning & wrote a letter to mother, Rex went to Hanson today to help cover Rev. Rayburn's house. I patched some this afternoon.

1935. I got dinner & cleaned up the house today. I sewed a little this afternoon. Mary & Jim came this afternoon. I wrote a letter to Mother today. Basil ate dinner with us today.
