MAY 29

1931. Mother and myself gathered, capped and canned 3 1/2 gallon's of straw berries today.

1932. Cosby, Mother & I went to Silent Run this afternoon, Mr. Barber Sisk and a Mr. Adkins were ordained as Deacons.

1933. I did some patching this morning. Joe Nell, Mildred and Bertie Lou Wyatt and Lucile Hamby came this afternoon. Sis and I picked some straw-berries late this afternoon.

1934. Sis is sick today. I did the general house work, ironed a few pieces, cleaned the fruit wardrobe, papered two fire screnes and painted the kitchen floor and mowed some in the yard. Amelia came this afternoon.

1935. Leona, Elizabeth, Sis & I went to Mrs. Cox's today to Missionary Meeting. There were 13 members and 6 visitors present.

MAY 30

1931. Mother & myself picked straw berries this morning. Dad & myself cleaned brother & Grand Mother's grave this afternoon.

1932. Mother and I gathered some peas this morning and I mowed part of the yard. I embroidered some this afternoon.

1933. Sis and I washed this morning. Rex helped us finish washing. I patched some this afternoon and picked some straw-berries for supper. Sis and I went to Wilson's school house tonight to hear Rev. Anderson preach.

1934. Jess spent the day with us. I mowed some in the yard & washed the kitchen windows. Sis is better today. She made a cake & bolied a ham & Jess ironed. Madelyn & Peachie Rogers came this afternoon. Lawrence & Mary Brown came also.

1935. Sis went to town today. I ironed & got dinner. Uncle Brack came this morning & will spend the day with us. Uncle Brack will spend the night also. Evelyn came this afternoon. I wrote a letter to Mother today.
