MAY 17

1931. Studied some this morning, Dad went to Sunday School and was elected Superientend of the Sunday School. Cosby came today as usual.

1932. Mother and I washed this morning, we went to see Mrs. Kirkwood this afternoon. She is no better.

1933. Sis, Mr. Slaton and I went to town this afternoon and I went to see Mrs. Mann. Dad came to Mrs. Mann's after me late this afternoon and I came home with him. I am going to stay a few days.

1934. I painted part of the walls and part of the ceiling in the middle room today.

1935. I ironed this morning. Mother & I went to see Ocie this afternoon. We went to see Uncle Brock a little while also.

MAY 18

1931. Went to school today and went to uncle Rufe's & spent the night. Rudell helped me study for Geometry final.

1932. I ironed this morning & pressed some dresses & mowed part of the yard. Finished mowing the yard this afternoon & embroidered some.

1933. I went to see Ocie a little while this morning. Ocie and the children came a little while this afternoon.

1934. I finished painting the walls & ceiling and painted part of the doors & windows today. Nora Lee, Ansil, Lorene & Mildred came this afternoon. Evelyn, Sis & I went to Madisonville to Commencement tonight. I wrote a letter to Mother today.

1935. I cleaned up the house this morning. I went to see Uncle Brock 3 times today. Dad, Mother & I went to chuch at Pleasant View tonight. Rev. Utley came home with us & will spend the night.
