APRIL 9

1931. Went to scchool today and took a English test, studied my lesson's a little tonight. Got a letter from Lorene today.

1932. Studied some this morning. Went over to Lorene's this afternoon to spend the night with her. We listened to the Radio tonight.

1933. Sis went to Sunday School & church this morning but Rex & I didn't go. Rex and I played Rook this afternoon and we took a walk.

1934. Sis & I washed this morning. Nora Lee came this afternoon.

1935. Dock & I washed this morning and Sis & Leona went to town. I went over to Leona's this afternoon & stayed with Elizabeth, Cornell, William Ross, Nealie & June while Cousin Herb, Earl & Leona were fone to town. Basil wasn't at home either. We played the victrola & played Rook.

APRIL 10

1931. Had car trouble and couldn't go to school today, Dortha, & myself spent the day at Mrs. Utley's today.

1932. Came home this afternoon from Lorene's. Cosby came late this afternoon.

1933. Sis and I washed this morning and I worked on my quilt a little this afternoon & did some patching.

1934. Sis and I ironed this morning and I started making my purple dress this afternoon. Sis went to town this afternoon.

1935. Sis & Stella went to Louisville today to K.E.A I ironed and did the general house work. Rex went to town today.
