APRIL 1

1931. Went to school today. Nothing happened ususual. Christia Lee & Ann Elsie and Ada were all absent today.

1932. Went to school today and came home this afternoon. Mr. & Mrs. Conley and Raymond cam a little while tonight.

1932. I cleaned up the house this morning. Mother and Dad came this afternoon and spent the night.

1934. Rex & I went to Uncle Brack's this morning. We spent the day with Mother & Dad & came home this afternoon. Lin and Jess were here when we got home. John Marion was here also. Lorene & Ansil got married yesterday.

1935. Mr. Slaton, Sis & I went to Mr. Parrish's today to Mrs. Kirkwood's surprise birthday dinner. Mrs. Kirkwood was 80 years old. Sis & I went to town this afternoon & I got a new paint dress, new slippers supports.

APRIL 2

1931. Went to school today had a geometry test & it sure was hard. I read 80 pages in David Copperfield tonight.

1932. Stayed at home all day & studied some. Mr. & Mrs. Conley & Raymond came a little while tonight.

1932. Mother & Dad spent the day with us, they went home this afternoon. Cousin Ev. Wilson came this afternoon. Aunt Ida Slaton came also. Sis, Reck & I played Rook tonight.

1934. I have been nearly sick today. Dock & Sis washed today & I helped a little. I helped Sis get dinner also. Sis & Mr. Slaton went to town this afternoon. Mr. Slaton is going to stay several days in town but Sis is going & will be gone until Friday. I wrote a letter to Mrs. Greer & also one to Mary.

1935. Sis went to Jessie's & washed today. Uncle Brack & mother came this afternoon & spend the night.
