Wind. S.E. Cloudy & Clearing. Ther. 40
SUN.DEC. 13th, 1896.

Still warm & pleasant for the
time of year. I went to meeting
& heard a lecture from Edward
Farquhar. upon the difference
in the views held by the young
and old as to what is good and
admirable in humanity and
what is bad or contemptible.
Willie came & took lunch with
us. Afternoon Edward drove
over to Riverside Hilles & Frank
Robison going with him, one
on bicycle & the other riding
in the buggy with him.
I wrote to Charley telling him
about the sale of "Frank" horse.
Walked up to the P.O. & mailed
letter. After dark.

to Insurance office & paid Allan
Farquhar for the hay he sent me
on the 3rd of the month. Afternoon
